Privacy Policy

AIComics.life is an independent comics imprint that publishes long-form graphic novels built for the phone. The site is operated by Parag Bhagwat. You can reach us any time at parag@aicomics.life.

Three kinds of information, and no more:

a. What you give us. When you subscribe for updates, register interest in a printed or signed edition, or send us an idea through our open call, we collect the name and email you type in and whatever you choose to write (for example, your pitch or which editions interest you). A small random identifier is also stored in your browser so we can remember your place in a book and avoid duplicate submissions.

b. Analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (loaded through Google Tag Manager) to understand readership — the pages you view, your device and browser type, an approximate location, and in-page events such as opening a book or starting a Watch-mode film. Links that reach us from campaigns on Pinterest, LinkedIn, X and similar carry UTM tags that tell us which source sent you.

c. Server & delivery logs. Our hosting and content-delivery providers automatically record standard technical data — IP address, browser user-agent, and timestamps — to serve pages and keep the site secure.

To send you updates about the works you asked to hear about, to reply to the ideas and requests you send us, and to learn what readers enjoy so we can make better books. That is the whole list.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

We rely on a few well-known providers to run the site, each handling data under its own privacy terms:

• Google Analytics — anonymous-by-default usage analytics.
• Vercel — hosting for the website.
• Railway — hosting for our application and the database that stores your subscriptions and submissions.
• Cloudflare — domain, content delivery, and image storage.

We do not use any advertising networks. When you subscribe or write to us, we store your message and contact you directly — we do not currently pass your email to a marketing service.

The only cookies we set are Google Analytics 4 cookies, and only after you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit. We set no advertising or social-media tracking pixels. A small identifier may be kept in your browser to remember your reading position. If we ever add paid-advertising tags, we will update this page before we do.

Emails and submissions are kept until you ask us to remove them (or you unsubscribe). Analytics data is retained for Google Analytics' default period — currently 14 months. Technical server logs are short-lived, per our providers' defaults.

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — and you can unsubscribe — at any time. Just email parag@aicomics.life and we will take care of it. You can also decline analytics cookies at any point without losing access to anything on the site.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 without a parent or guardian's consent. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us at parag@aicomics.life and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version, and we will note any material change here.
