The Open Call

Send us an idea. We'll decide whether to make it.

This isn't a machine that makes whatever you type. It's an invitation. You pitch a story in a paragraph; a few times a year we choose the ones we fall for and turn them into a real graphic book — with your name on the cover.

Step 1

You pitch a paragraph

One idea, in your own words. No art, no scripts — just the story only you would think of.

Step 2

We pick a few

A small editorial team reads everything and selects the handful we genuinely want to make.

Step 3

We make it — and credit you

If yours is chosen, we write, draw and letter it. Your name goes on the cover as the person who imagined it.

Being honest: most ideas won't be made. We make very few, very carefully. Sending one in costs nothing and keeps your idea yours — but please don't expect a yes.

A paragraph is plenty. We're reading for the idea, not the polish.
